Optymalizacja gsm abis
Your Needs
Improve bandwidth efficiency of costly satellite and long-distance GSM/GPRS backhaul links.
Our Solution
The base station system (BSS) in any given GSM network is comprised of a large number of base stations (BTS) linked to base station controllers (BSC) over an A-bis interface. The A-bis interface transports signaling protocols as well as compressed voice. Because further compression of the voice traffic is not applicable, the best way to reduce bandwidth is to optimize the A-bis protocol running over the radio access network (RAN).
Compressed A-bis traffic can be optimized by eliminating redundant silence and idle frames, resulting in more efficient use of backhaul links and reducing the bandwidth required over leased lines, satellite links and microwave.
