M3S system may detect specified vehicle number plates in analysed camera video stream. Upon detection the system automatically notifies operator in the Monitoring Centre, and displays the picture of a wanted vehicle. This information may be forwarded to proper services, e.g. to the police.
M3S digital monitoring system enables vehicle license plate recognition. This functionality may be widely employed for recognition and finding of wanted vehicles. After number recognition and verification with a wanted vehicle database, the M3S system may generate an alarm in the Monitoring Centre and begin recording of picture from a camera or from other specified cameras. Intensity of robberies, hooliganism, thefts and acts of vandalism greatly decreases in the areas covered by cameras.
