Multidepartment monitoring

Multi Media Monitoring and Surveillance is a cutting-edge system for digital monitoring and remote surveillance, allowing for the transfer of video, audio and other digital signals through the network. Within the M3S system analogue signals (video, audio, etc.) are converted into digital ones, thereafter compressed and transferred to the operator. The system is based on the client-server architecture and the TCP/IP (UDP) protocol. It co-operates with most network types: PSTN, ISDN, GSM, GPRS, Ethernet, Token Ring, Frame Relay, ATM and Gigabit Ethernet.
Basic element of the M3S system architecture is the M2C Multi Media Concentrator, which collects all signals coming from local analogue systems (cameras, microphones, sensors, etc.). On the receipt side is a managing station running the Operator software, which receives and decompresses signals and allows for camera handling and observing alarm signals from respective concentrators.
M3S System Features:
- Remote monitoring and supervision of distant objects scattered around a large area by means of available transmission lines (PSTN, ISDN, GSM, GPRS Ethernet, Token Ring, Frame Relay, ATM and VSAT networks)
- Digital recording enabling simultaneous reproduction of the recording and on-line monitoring
- Unlimited number of concentrators and managing stations working in one system (in one network)
- Independent parameters defined for each camera (recording, transmission, control)
- Digital transmission of coded video streams and signals coming from other security systems linked to the M3S system
- Video material recorded in a data base on high-capacity disks
- Movement detection with adjustable detection areas and sensitivity levels defined independently for each camera
- Scaled number of video inputs in concentrators 1-16
- Video streams coded in JPEG and WEVELET standards
- Remotely controlled Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras (Philips, Ultrak, Pelco, etc.)
- Video multicast enabling many operators to view the picture from a given camera
- Reduction in the cost of the CCTV system due to the use of the present network infrastructure
- Reduction of the network occupancy level when there are no alarms
- Two-way audio communication between the system operator and the monitored building
-  Viewable status of alarm inputs and adjustable status of steering outputs
- Using NO/NC sensors
- Full co-operation with the alarm system
- Monitoring the operation of other systems, e.g. access control, fire alarming
- Events recorded in a data base with a report including the date, time of occurrence and description of the event
- System of intelligent scenarios which automatise the system operation (automatic activation and deactivation of recording, movement detection resulting from the adopted schedule or caused by an event).
- Event analysis system.
- Automatic connection with the managing station after the alarm
- Definable time of pre-alarm and post-alarm recording Video signal in PAL and NTSC systems
Cameras:
- Pan/Tilt/Zoom as well as stationary and fixed focus cameras
- monochrome and colour cameras
- to be used inside and outside the building
- cameras operated through the network
- cameras from different manufacturers can be used
- camera description enabling easy identification
- automatic activation of remote control for steerable cameras
- using predefined items and route
- Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras steered from the panel on the managing station screen or by means of a special joystick
- Remote cameras operated by means of light pipe converters
- Video recordings archived on DAT tapes or DVD-RAM disks
- Manageable archive of recorded pictures.
- Co-operation with power maintenance equipment (UPS).
- Multi-level access protected by a system of passwords
- Remote configuration and viewing of the archive.
- Easily added supplementary cameras and operator stations
- Graphic user interface facilitating management
- Synoptic map scaling visualising the system operation
- Automatic switching of synoptic maps after the alarm
- Activation of cameras by a drag & drop operation in the video matrix window
- Scalable windows with the camera picture
- Camera name and time presented on the picture
- Action procedures displayed in case of alarm
- Picture transferred to additional monitors (option)
- Messages printed on a local and/or remote printer
- Printing selected recorded pictures
- Selected pictures can be saved into a *.jpg or *.bmp file
- Export recorded stream into *.avi file
- Possibility to select a language version (English, French, Polish, etc.)
- Easy operation of the system
- Easy configuration
- System with an open architecture
